Ductless Split Kelowna | What is a ductless split?
A ductless split, sometimes referred to as a mini-split system is a 2 piece "split" system that can provide air conditioning or heat to a space without the need for ducting, hence the term ductless split. The two pieces consist of an outdoor and indoor unit. The outdoor unit is a condenser that can can transfer warm old cold air. The inside unit is a head with the fan part built in. The two pieces are connected with small refrigeration and electrical lines and only require a small hole to be drilled through the wall. These are great for small spaces and in the event you would like multi spaces, you can combine up to 5 indoor heads with one outdoor unit on some models for a multi-zone ductless split system.
